Goals 2017-18
Here is what we are working on this year...

College Trips!!

RKA is pleased to offer three different subsidized college trips to our current 10th & 11th graders.  As you all well know, in the next year or two, students will begin the college application process; this is a great opportunity for them to see firsthand what these schools have to offer.  These trips are a wonderful opportunity for students to experience a guided tour of popular universities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and in Upstate New York.  Trips such as these encourage students to think seriously about the college process and their choices and options within that process.

This year RKA received grant money from Senator Jeffrey Klein which enables us to offset the cost of the trips.  We are asking for parent contributions to cover the remaining cost of $40 per trip.  You may choose for your child to attend one trip or all three trips.  Lunch will be provided on all trips.   Attached you will find the itineraries for the 3 upcoming tours.

Trip # 1 on 2/6/18 is to Rowan University and Temple University- money is due 2/2
Trip # 2 on 3/13/18 is to SUNY PUrchase, Manhattanville and Duchess Community College- money is due 3/8
Trip #3 on 4/10/18 is to SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College- money is due 3/29

Prices are $40 per trip or $100 if you book for all three trips.  If you are planning on taking advantage of the 3-trip discount, your payment is due 2/2.   Please see Ms. Roberts at LRoberts6@schools.nyc.gov  .  9th Grade trips will be announced later on.
